Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AWA Labs ("AWA Labs", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the apps we build and publish on the Shopify App Store. This policy applies to all AWA Labs apps; the general practices below apply across our whole app portfolio, and each app-specific section further down describes exactly what that individual app collects and why.

1. Who this policy covers

AWA Labs develops apps that install into a merchant's Shopify admin. When a merchant installs one of our apps, we may process data belonging to that merchant's store as described below, strictly to operate the app's functionality. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use store data for advertising or profiling purposes unrelated to the app's stated function.

2. Data we collect, in general

Across our apps, we generally collect only what is required to provide the app's functionality:

• Store and account data — your myshopify.com domain, and access tokens issued by Shopify when you install an app, used solely to make authorized API calls on your behalf.
• App-specific content — described individually for each app below (for example, product or catalog data an app is built to analyze or modify).
• Usage and diagnostic data — basic operational logs (errors, request timing) used to keep the app running reliably. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell this data.

We do not knowingly collect data about a merchant's end customers unless a specific app explicitly states otherwise in its section below.

3. Where data is stored and processed

Our apps are hosted on Fly.io (application servers) and Neon (PostgreSQL database hosting), both of which may process and store data in the United States. Where an app integrates a third-party AI provider to deliver its functionality, that provider is named explicitly in the app's section below, along with what is sent to it.

4. Your rights and how to exercise them

Merchants and, where applicable, their customers may request access to, or deletion of, personal data we hold in connection with an AWA Labs app. Every AWA Labs app implements Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks (customer data request, customer redaction, and shop redaction), so that:

• Uninstalling an app triggers deletion of the store's data held by that app within a reasonable period.
• Any request relating to a specific end customer's data is honored per the app's actual data practices, described in that app's section below.

5. Children's privacy

Our apps are business tools intended for use by Shopify merchants and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of an AWA Labs app after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
